The LumiSolarCell system utilizes the photoluminescence
or alternatively the electro- luminescence phenomena
to image micro cracks, cell failures and
inhomogenities of wafers and solar cells
which are extremely difficult to detect visually.
The equipment enables performing detailed
quality control and it was developed for
research and off-line industrial inspection.
The system consists of a highly sensitive
CCD-Camera and an innovative HighPower
LED light source, developed and manufactured
by greateyes. The system is delivered with
a complete enclosure and an optional computer
system.
